The flights take place every day, depending on the weather, at sunrise or 3 hours before sunset. Flights are possible all year with April to October being the most favourable season.
The activity takes around 3 hours with a 1-hour flight according to the wind. Take off around the castle, depending on the wind direction. After landing a certificate is distributed along with sparkling Loire Valley wines!

Casual Dress code advised ; it’s not colder in the air than on land.

Aérocom Montgolfière is labelled « QUALITE TOURISME » and « TOURISME ET HANDICAP » with a basket that’s adapted for physically disabled passengers.

We've been flying for 40 years, so why not take to the skies in one of our helicopters and see some of the prestigious châteaux for which our region is famous.

We offer tours of 15 minutes to 1 hour over the heritage of Touraine. Fly over the Châteaux of Amboise, Chenonceau, Chambord, Villandry, etc...

Air Touraine

Airline company for 40 years, Air Touraine will take you on board its hot-air balloons to see differently some of the prestigious castles which make the fame of the Loire Valley, in France.
In total it is 3 hours of adventure: the preparation of the balloon and its inflation, the flight of about 1 hour at the mercy of the wind (depending on the landing fields available to us), the landing, the glass of Champagne, a friendly moment where everyone expresses the emotions experienced and the return in 4X4.

Aventure canoe sur le cher

Aventure Canoë invites you to stroll along the Cher, a calm river with a preserved ecosystem. Our leitmotiv is to be as close to nature as possible while doing sport!
Our base offers several routes on the Cher Sauvage and the Cher Tranquille. The canoe trip will give you the chance to discover the flora and fauna of the valley, and of course the Château de Chenonceau from a new angle, as you pass under the arches of this magnificent architectural work!
Base at CHISSEAUX (departures from Montrichard, quai Jean Bart), ST AIGNAN and CHISSAY (lock keeper's house).
The club offers introductory and advanced courses for schools, leisure centres, groups, works councils, companies and seminars.
Groups: 2/3-day bivouacs are also organised with partner campsites.

Canoe company Cher

Canoe Company offers walks on the Cher with several routes including the passage under the Chateau of Chenonceau and on the Loire between Amboise and Rochecorbon. The "Chenonceau walk" lasts about 2 hours for 7 km. Departure from St-Georges, lock at Chisseaux or portage, passage under the castle of Chenonceau. Canadian canoes (2 or 3 seater), life jackets. Also longer stretches of one or more days. Unusual: evening walks, lantern, morning; picnic baskets. Stroll on site without reservation. Public: Couples, families, groups, seminars ... Condition: know how to swim.

Our club, which is a member of the French canoeing federation, has been in existence for over 50 years:

Escape game urbain, l'Enquête tourangelle

The participants have a route of about 3 km to solve an investigation. They have to go to various places in the city such as the theatre or the Place Plumereau, but also to lesser known places. This investigation allows you to discover or rediscover the city of Tours.

With a surface area of 2,000m2, EVA Tours has 2 arenas of 500m2 each, an e-sport bar and a seminar room for corporate events.

France Montgolfières

France Montgolfières, with more than 25 years of experience, offers you a dream air ride over the most beautiful sites of the Loire Valley and the Cher Valley! Flight of Chenonceaux. Appreciated at any age from the age of 6, this playful, original and magical activity does not require any particular physical aptitude. Flights from early April to late October, at sunrise or sunset depending on the period and the chosen site of flight. Allow about 3 hours for the service including 1 hour flight. The service includes: transport to the place of takeoff and return in our vehicles, preparation of the balloon, flight of about 1 hour, landing and storage of the balloon, friendship glass and graduation.

The Karting Center Tours leisure centre has a karting track for children aged 7 and over and a paintball field for children aged 18 and over. A pretty traditional restaurant nestled at the foot of the tufa cliffs and facing the Loire, the Auberge du Croissant offers a cuisine full of simplicity, with local products.
The prices are quite affordable and the wine list is remarkably well stocked with high quality Loire wines. Don't be fooled if the men of the vineyard come here in large numbers for lunch, it's because Epicure has been there! In season, service is available in the shady and quiet garden.

Orangerie du Domaine de la Tortinière

This restaurant, set in the Château's Orangery, boasts a large, light and spacious dining room decorated in warm colours. The great bay windows give on to a huge terrace where guests can choose to eat in the summer months. The dining room also enjoys a superb view over the Indre valley.
